Registration is now open to We are a Sensitive Bunch: A Workshop on Compassion Fatigue for VAW Management Staff, organized by the Service System Excellence Implementation Team*, a committee of the Central West Region VAW Forum.

This workshop is a follow-up to recent research projects conducted by the Social Innovation Research Group on behalf of the team, which involved consultations with VAW staff from across Central West Region.  The session will provide an experiential component and information on:

  • Culture necessary to encourage a dialogue about Vicarious Trauma
  • Compassion Fatigue and the Vicarious Trauma Toolkit
  • Resiliency skills to address vicarious trauma
  • Compassion Satisfaction

All management staff of VAW organizations in Central West Region are encouraged to attend on Sept 25thPlease register by Friday, Sept 13, at VAW Forum CFW-M
